MetaHuman Character Textures Appear Black after assembling in Unreal Engine 5.6 Preview

I found an alternative solution that seems to work in my case. Temporary disable “Substrate” materials in your project settings. Relaunch and create your metahuman from Metahuman Creator. It should fix the textures appearing black. After you’ve completed the Assemble, you can turn back on Substrate and the materials will still appear fixed.
