Mesh Distance Field Indirect Shadows limitation?

I’m running tests with the Mesh Distance Field Indirect Shadows in an indoor environment. I’m experimenting an illumination of a 4 cylinder object at different distances because I want to simulate the feet of sofas with different lengths. In the first case the cylinders are at a distance of 100 cm and the shadows are projected correctly, if I increase the distance (200, 300, 400) the shadow attachment tends more and more to detach from the projected surface contact point. The shadow projected with length over 200 tends to fall apart along its extension. The objects are movable (distance filed resolution scale 20), only skylight static for illumination. Volumetric light method : volumetric lightmap, cell size 50.

Is this a limitation of the Mesh Distance Field Indirect Shadows or can these errors be corrected by changing some parameters?
