Megascans Gone Mad

I’m new with UE and I think I broke the Megascans, Somehow.

Brief: I just Wanna know how I can COMPLETELY restore an asset’s set-up in its Material Graph to its default state.

Explanation: I was setting up the Virtual Textures, in order to blend the landscape with the assets. In process, in the asset’s material graph, I replaced a Material Function node with one MF that already was there. Saved and apparently this change has effected EVERYTHING TO THE CORE.

I’m trying to reset this action.
I have deleted the asset from the library directory in documents, downloaded the asset again and it still contains the problems.
So I’m looking for an actual, restore to default feature, somewhere???

Was the MF changed inside the engine content? I would have thought if the MF is inside the asset folder it would restore the defaults on reimport.

If the MF was engine content, I think if you open the epic launcher, go to Library and find your UE install. Next to the launch button is a small down arrow, click that and go to verify.

Click that and the engine will repair the engine and its contents back to default.

I did the verify feature but now some of the assets are missing their MI now.

They are square blank gray texture all over. :face_holding_back_tears:
