Matinee example not letting me copy files over to other projects

Like the title says, when I try to copy files over from the content folder in the matinee example to another project, i just get a grey box whenever i drag and drop a mesh or particle into my scene?

Both projects are 4.9

Are you using the merge tool or just directly copy and pasting?

D-Directly copy and pasting o-o…is that a bad thing?

I know not of this merge tool, I am a noob at udk

Right click on the content folder of the project in editor. Merge from the currently open project to the new one.
