Making Blinds. Any ideas?

Hey guys,

I’m trying to make some movable blinds that can open and close. I’m very new to blueprints and I wonder if that is a simple way to make this.
My ideia was to make a collision box so when the blinds comes up it will gradually stops renderging the mesh, but I don’t know if this is possible or the functions to call.
Any ideas?



I would think you could approach this a myriad of ways.

Static meshes rotated/moved by blueprint.

You could even make a skeletal mesh and move the bone in the armature up and down.

Fabric system…

Maybe even use a ribbon particle system with a really bland looking texture, make it really wide, and have its scale adjust downward/upward over time on blueprint command :slight_smile:
