How can I make the grass that’s spawned through a material affect distance fields? If I place it directly in the level the distance field of the grass shows up, if I spawn it as regular foliage it shows up, but if I spawn it through the grass material system, it does not.
I would like to get rid of using CSM and only use DF shadows, and grass without any shadows looks quite bad. I know that DF shadows would not fit the movement of the grass in the wind, but that’s fine. Internally it’s just a HISMC as far as I know, and they should be able to affect the distance field without any problems, so how do I enable it?
