Thanks for calling this out with a solid repro. We’ve entered a bug that’s sitting with the right person to track this down. FORT-513259
Hey there I’m taking a look at it and I’m currently unable to reproduce locally. I was using the light device. Is there any way you can attach a log from your run or perhaps your account and I can do some snooping on your profile to see what’s up.
I actually just messed with it today with my team and we just discovered that when the UEFN user saves & refreshes. Sometimes, its inconsistent, but afterwards, I would try and place something in the world. I can see it in the client, but the UEFN user doesnt see it. If the UEFN user restarts the game session, it seems to work & other users are able to place assets & the UEFN user is able to see it. Again its not 100% consistent so the UEFN user would refresh the game session until it works ( usually works the first time )
How would I send the log? Do I just copy & paste onto a pdf or something i can post in here?
I think you can attach logs to here via the upload button when you reply. Attaching the log files found in your App data fiolder would be really helpful
C:\Users<YourName>\AppData\Local\UnrealEditorFortnite\Saved\Logs\UnrealEditorFortnite.log
Likely something similar to that path.
Then
C:\Users<YourName>\AppData\Local\FortniteGame\Saved\Logs\FortniteGame.log
FortniteGame.log (4.0 MB)
Hope this helps
