Live Link Connected, Blend Shapes Present, No Animation

I am having trouble getting live link data to actually effect the blend shapes of my character. Live Link is connected and the debugger is showing values being updated. I have blend shapes imported with the skeletal mesh with the proper names. But when I attach the live link pose to the output pose nothing happens. I tested with my character and a character from the marketplace. No luck. I have no idea how to debug after this. Any help would be massively appreciated.
