I have heard that CR is doing its own sharpening of the photos during the process.
-Should I sharpen them before to import them anyway ?
-Should I use photoshop to correct my lens distoriton or should I leave CR dealing with that ?

CR is NOT doing any changes to the images, we just use clever algorithms that can filter out sharp pixels from images. but you need good overlap and sharp pixels at least on few images so that we can use the sharp ones…
we highly recommend to NOT make any lens correction as it is not very precise… but it can help in some “special” cases
