Hi,
I am trying to make hair with cards. Unreal has two ways to achieve this, one with mask and second with translucency. When I using first option masking, it gives very sharp and crispy look and when I am using translucent, it gives layer sorting problem. Please see attached images including shader map with details.
I have also tried with separate translucency, custom depth stencil pass, translucent sort policy and translucent sort axis in project settings but no result.
I am sure people out there must be achieving this result with translucency.
Please help me with this.
If I use masked than how to make it soft and If I use translucent than how to get rid of layer sorting problem ?
