Launching a character

Hello !

I would like to “launch” a character in the air and fall back to a specific location.

I naturally tried with the node launch character and with the appropriate velocity it falls exactly where I want which is great.

Now I would like the speed of the “jump” to be faster, and this is where I am not sure…

Of course the velocity has to be higher, but if the velocity is higher then the character goes above the desired location, logic.

So what are the options ? Tweaking physics settings which seems to be odd ?

My other plan was to drop the launch character node and simply go with an animated timeline and interpolation, but I wanted to make sure there was no other options…
