Landscape texture flickering glitch in VRpreview

Hi, I have this weird glitch where the landscape texture starts to flick when I get close to that part of the terrain, and only in VRpreview (not in editor’s viewport).

Does anybody know what is happening? Thank you so much!

Ok so I’ve been fiddling with the Scalability settings and I’ve found that this issue only appears when Global illumination is set to Medium or Low. Why is it happening tho?
