I’m having major issues getting my splatmap material to work correctly. I have followed several tutorials verbatim with no luck.
Basically, I have a heightfield and splatmap generated from worldmachine. I have created material using 3 textures (and their normals) with LandscapeLayerBlend nodes which all use height information from my splatmap file. When I apply this material to the landscape and create all appropriate layer infos for each texture layer (grass,sand,rock etc) all I get is a landscape covered with my grass material and nothing else. when i go to paint the other layers, they just paint wherever and ignore any RGB masks set-up from the splatmap. I swear several years ago I got this to work, but it’s not working anymore.
Thoughts? Much appreciated.
