Landscape keep resetting over spline

I don’t know if it’s really a bug or something wrong with my file, but for some reason after I saved my files my landscape overrides the spline(that was made with landscape spline editor) that had carved the path over the terrain.

This causes me problem, because my file consist of manually placed static meshes and the sudden shift of the landscape threw me off.

Should I worry about this?

p.s. Do excuse me of my poorly placed stuff’s. It’s an assignment and I kinda let loose with placing stuff all over it.

Update: I changed the Component size in the Landscape editor to higher quads. It still shifts, but not as much as before.

Hi seantriana,

After saving and the landscape changes, does it change back if you make any alterations to it? For instance, when it changes, try smoothing a very small portion of landscape and see if it snaps back? Also, what scalability settings are you currently using?

Hi seantriana,

We have not heard from you in quite some time. I am marking this thread as answered for tracking purposes. If you are still experiencing this error, please respond with the requested information. Thank you!

Kinda solved my problem, apparently I am working with the lowest setting and the geometry just ran at the lowest quality while maintaining the original collision. Changing the Engine scalability setting to Epic fixed my problem, but I am worried about the framerate at this point. So far it’s working okay.
