Whenever I try to create a new landscape in the landscaping mode it gets to 50% exactly and stops. Nothing I do will allow it to progress past “Compiling shaders: World Grid Material”.
I have had no other problems in the engine with shader compilation so I’m really confused as to what could be causing this.
I have also tried leaving it for hours and hours to compile but to no avail. Also changing the priory in Task Manager didn’t work.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
When I posted this I started a new landscape. I have left it running in the background since and it hasn’t even gone up by 1%.
To anyone else having this issue I found a solution:
When you are in the landscape creation menu you can select a material other than the default. Selecting another basic material should fix the issue and you can change it later.
