As of right now there are two options for lighting in UEFN, the “Ch4” TODM or the “Ch5” TODM
Both of these are good but if you want to make something unique its difficult as you need to make a custom blueprint and animate it in a level sequence, making the modularity difficult along with that you cannot change it per platform.
Right now in UEFN we are able to parent off the Ch4 TODM which is a DSA (day sequence actor) and in there it lets us change the day sequence which essentially is the settings for the time of day and how it looks on certain times, but the problem is we cannot create these assets in the first place to change it.
The reason we need this is for easily flexible lighting setups, along with that day sequence assets have the capability to change the actual sequence per scalability which is what fortnite does, while we have to do a one size fits all solution, which gives us less freedom.
TLDR: Please give us acess to the day sequence asset type
