Is it Possible To Use Timeline and Set Scale with Dynamics?

Hey All!
I am currently spawning an actor that has dynamics on it. The plan is to have it keep spawning over time, and When it spawns I want it to grow from 0 in scale to a random scale. I’m able to do that with a timeline and set actor scale. However, with dynamics enabled, the scaling stops working. It is either on screen or off. Is there something I am potentially doing wrong in theory, or would this be a limitation I’m facing? Thanks for any input you can offer!

What dynamics are you referring to exactly?
