I’ve got 5 Scene Capture 2D components attached to my Player object, which render to 5 separate Render Targets. These are then drawn onto my HUD side-by-side so that each one takes up a fifth of the total screen size. The Render Targets are 1920 x 1080, and although the PC I’m using is pretty high-end, the frame rate is starting to suffer a little when I use the required total resolution of 9600 x 1080.
With this in mind, I’m wondering if I can disable the “default” camera from rendering, as it’s not required and is just getting covered completely by the textures within my HUD anyway. I’m guessing that by doing this I can optimize it a little.
