Is it possible to attach a mesh to a socket only when a specific animation is playing?

I’ve got a handful of animations that I plan to use in Matinee. However, some of them have weapons, and I was wondering if it’s possible to attach a static mesh (the weapon) to a socket, only when a specific animation is playing. Any help would be appreciated.
