Hey everyone! I’ve been attempting to make a game out of hexagons, but the hexes haven’t been snapping together properly. It works along one axis, but not the other. And along the axis that it doesn’t work on, there’s either a gap between the hexes or I manage to overshoot and the shapes start to clip. No amount of grid snap values or V-snapping will work properly. The images below are an overhead view of the floor that I’m attempting to figure out.
Even if there is a way to fix this on a regular square grid, it might be easier in the long run to continuously stick to a hexagonal grid for simplicity’s sake. Any help is appreciated!
