Has anyone been able to reconstruct things like windows properly, either with a combination of photogrammetry and laser or with bracketed HDR photos?

What do you understand under proper reconstruction of windows ?
I haven’t done any interiors yet, but I have done a bit of water. and even a glass bottle.
anything reflective or refractive is going to cause issues.
i deal with water by deleting it all. it generally makes a bit of a mess of it. though not really surprising.
glass bottle was done by spray painting it first.
I think for glass windows, you will either need to cover them up, maybe large sheets of paper? maybe something else.
otherwise you’ll just have to delete the mesh that you get can replace it with something you model yourself.
