Instanced FbxScene mesh components in different order than blueprint editor

Seeing an issue with an fbx scene object I’m using in an arch-viz project. I have a big complex object that I use to generate position data for vfx in a project I’m working on, and everything imports correctly, but when I actually place the fbx scene actor, the mesh components are all listed out-of-order. I can work around this by sorting an array of these components by name, but as there are roughly 6600 mesh components to sort, it would be nice if Unreal didn’t jumble the order of them when in instances the object.
