I am wondering the exact same thing: can I get a particle system to respond to baked volume lighting samples?
Is this possible?
From what I recall of the lighting stream, I looked up Indirect Lighting Cache Quality. It has an ‘ILCQ Volume’ option. Tooltip says it uses a 5x5 set of the volume samples. Not sure if that scales based on the bounds of the object…
