You can import the components and models into RC separately. Imported components can be merged to one directly in RC, however imported models cannot be united into one mesh.
You can reconstruct the model in blocks as mentioned here (https://support.capturingreality.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001483771-Huge-scene-reconstruction) but you will need to join these models outside RC.
Yes, the depth map calculation is dependant on a reconstruction region.
