Increasing shadow quality for Stationary Directional Light

And one more Lumen question.

How would you increase the cast shadow quality for a Stationary Directional Light?

In the attached notice the staircasing on the shadow edge.

If this scene was baked I would simply increase my Lightmap resolution on the static mesh. But obviously this won’t work with Lumen.

Something to do with virtual shadow maps which are the preferred solution for use with Lumen. But how would you change the resolution? None of the Shadow Map resolution settings on my light make a difference.

As far as I know, they only point of having static lights is to bake. So you might as well change that to moveable :wink:

That edge looks like the edge of the mesh, not a shadow.

How large is the mesh, how many polys?

Also, do you anti aliasing on? ( project settings )
