Hi all. I noticed there is an inaccurate information on the Foliage documentation: Foliage Mode in Unreal Engine | Unreal Engine 5.3 Documentation.
It says

Thanks, we changed this to use a dedicated node because some people were using the vertex color alpha to store other data they wanted to access the material. I updated the documentation source now so the update should make its way to the live pages.
