Impossible to changer panning speed dynamically?

Hello!

I have been trying to change the panning speed of a texture over time, however the speed remain constant no matter what I try so I was wondering if anyone has successfully done this before?

Here’s my current setup:

The lifetime of my particle in this case is set to 5.

I also tried this:

But if I map the dynamic parameter to a curve, the panning material starts to flicker and the values seem messed up.
