Hi, I have a vehicle animation that I need to bring in from maya. The translational data looks fine, but as soon as it hits rotations, the asset jumps all over the place. This, I believe, is because the mesh pivots are being reset on import. Is there a workaround for this?
Can I:
Export the animation from maya
Set the asset to the origin, zero it out.
export the asset again
import the two files into ue and load the animation onto the zero-ed mesh?
