Hi people,
Using the preview version of UE4, and trying to import some obj file i can’t uncheck import materials and import textures ?
When you exported the .obj did you have something along the lines of “Export Materials” or “Write Materials” checked?
Also UE4 works a lot better with .fbx files, and if possible you should convert or reexport as that.
For materials with OBJ you have to keep your .mtl file with the .obj file, so if that’s not there then it can’t do it.
OBJ doesn’t support much in terms of materials though
