Importing LOD's still has the Classic mesh -> Just added LOD Mesh to it. UE 4.17

Hi Guys

my first post here. Normaly lurking solves all my problems :slight_smile:

The project I’m working on is still in UE 4.17.

Goal: I need LOD’s of a Character mesh which is already in engine.

Problem: It’s like there is 2 Meshes 1 my base character and the LOD’s. The LOD’s are working like expected, but the LOD0 doesn’t get removed. It’s like there is 2 Meshes 1 with LOD’s and 1 without. But here is the catch, there are no 2 meshes in my Maya file.

Workflow: Maya with Character -> Generate LOD Group -> Generate LOD Meshes -> Game Exporter -> Import as New Mesh with Old Skeleton

The screen I attached is Inside UE4 with LOD set to 4 you can clearly see the LOD4 clipping through the base mesh.

If you need more Information I’ll try to provide it.
