importing laser scan point cloud

Hi,
I have a problem with importing laser point cloud from FARO. Laser scan is in format ptx, but while importing data laser software will throw a warning " Invalid function call" . What is the problem ?

Are you using DEMO version on TRIAL ?

are you exporting from Faro Scene SINGLE PTX = all scans in one PTX or per scan position = multiple PTX ?

I am using DEMO version. I am importing all scans in one PTX.

so get multiple PTX files, its for better work so get proper names of particular scans and when exporting get the PTX already so can start to work with them…

Try export it separately and import, as we have observed some issues when al data are in single PTX file. And its good for easier solving of issues with particular PTX files…
