Importing an atypical animation

Hello! I’m not an animator, so I did a stylized animation for this ghost enemy in my game. There is no skeletal mesh, and all the body parts are separate pieces that are animated mostly using transformations. If I combine the body parts in Maya, the animation still works perfectly, but Unreal 1) rotates the whole mesh 90 degrees for some reason and 2) doesn’t preserve the animation–it’s completely static. I read this article but it didn’t help. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to import it? Here are what my settings look like right now:
