Importing a mesh with a custom shading pipeline?


We’re trying to import very specific mesh data with a dedicated custom-made shader pipeline from our external application into UE5. We need comprehensive guidance in the subject.

I was having the same problem (are you doing the tutorial on Udemy?).
My workaround was to create a new physical material and increase the density of the physical material to 5 and applied it to the floor. I ticked the ‘simulate physics’ and unticked ‘enable gravity’ in the floor instance.

It is a bit of fudge but seems to work
