Image clipping on VR style HUD widget

Hi I’ve got my players health and speed attached to the character as a widget so that it won’t warp when played using a Rift. There is an image within the widget that only displays fully depending on the y-axis height of the widget… but below a certain y-value it begins clipping. I’ve tried changing all the widget screen and image holder size settings with no luck. The widget is set to UI in the settings panel. Could it be caused by the image plane intersecting with the 3d terrain in my environment and if so is there anyway to override this so that the widget components are visible regardless of other elements? I’ve tried the answer-hub and the rendering section with out any advice so far. Any ideas ?
