I need help with realitycapture alignment issues.

Hello,

I’m using realitycapture with the hopes to upgrade my business by creating 3D models of houses from my DJI Mini 4 pro drone. I have recently taken a load of photos, and have watched more youtube tutorials than i ever have before to try and get everything to work, however i’m still unable to get things working.

Long story short, whenever i try to align the photos, they’re not putting the photos in the correct places, furthermore, if i add more photos, it actually only makes things worse. A big issue for me for example, is i’ve got a 360 view of this home, however the software is aligning the point cloud with one side of the house being significantly higher than the other. I’ve tried using the control points, changing the markers, changing the settings, everything, yet it still won’t work properly.

It’s showing the photos in the right place for what i can tell and the right positions, but it’s just not loading it all together properly. Obviously i cannot share my file here to show you, but my photos have ample overlap, are clear and sharp, with good lighting, are all georeferenced and in the correct place, and as i say, not even the control points are changing anything. So not sure what is left for me to do.

The mesh model texture and colours will load fine, it’s just this point cloud alignment not putting the photos in the right place that i cannot seem to fix.
