Hello ,

Thank you for posting your question in the community and would need further information on what you are trying to do and maybe a screen-shot as I am not certain to completely understand your question.

In order to set the correct time of day and location you should go to the Location Settings then set the time of day and place. Once that is setup you can create media's from the viewport and the created media will use those settings. If you decide you need to adjust the time or location you have to remember if you are changing the viewport or the saved media.

Hope this helps and looking forward to hearing back from you so I can best answer your question.

Kind regards,

Vincent B.

Hello again Vincent,

firstly I wont give you my gratefull by your kindly and helpings words.

Also, I would like to explain you my problem is not with sunlight and hour of specific day in some place of any map, because I don´t need to use this means at moment.

by now, I only wont to use the direct interface panel site upright corner when we pick the eye.
first item with sun icon work right until I start to use the videoclip commands or material assignments
then, while I work into this rutines the sunlight icon is looked.
I am not sure is this must be this way, or something goes wrong, because I dont know how to scape from this situation to back to recover the direct-sunlighticon again (I get no with scape-botton.)

Only, when I save the model and resset TwinMotion, I found the task just in the point I leaved it, and sunlight working again
(until I Start to work with video rutines again).

it is very important to my task to resolve this problem, because I need to run one travelling that start and finish in 2 differents points of stage, but with 2 diferents lights too, and I don`t get this target at this time.

thanks again by your kindly helping and attention.

Hello ,

Thank you for your reply and the detailed description of the issue.

When working in media, it takes the viewport sun (Time of day) and then locks it because it then needs to be changed in the settings of that media (image, panorama, animation).

In the Media dock, select the Video, then click on the more menu under the keyframe thumbnail:

Then change the time of day there

To go back in the viewport and edit the sunlight (Time of Day) you need to exit media mode by selecting Quit media mode. Changing the setting in the viewport won't have an effect on any saved media.
