I am asking the Twinmotion team when is the directlink plugin for ArchiCAD 26, which has been out for months now, going to be released, if at all?

MC_Jut, I appreciate your response to this issue. As with all my interactions with the Support team, it was extremely clear, informative and transparent. I really appreciate those aspects.

I am also excited by the implications that you, intentionally or not, seem to leak here. You're saying that Twinmotion 2023 will be upgrading to Unreal 5.1, which is really exciting news, I was hoping for that as well.

However, I am disappointed as well, because what this also tells me is that the Twinmotion team looks at ArchiCAD users as an afterthought, customers who can happily wait for 6 months without a directlink between their own BIM projects and Twinmotion. I am completely aware of the alternative suggestion of using ArchiCAD 25 as a stopgag, what I think the Twinmotion team is completely unaware of is how this stopgag is a complete defeat of the whole purpose of a DirectLink for the iterative design process that we have right now.

Luckily for me, we can afford to delay our upgrade to 26 for a couple of months because the changes made in 26 are not that important for our practice (and there's also the fact that the Portuguese version only became available a few weeks ago).

I do worry that this becomes common practice in the future, and that if EPIC's dream of turning everything into Unreal is to become reality, then I would suggest that making a small upgrade of the directlink for a program that had no changes to its 3D pipeline at all is worth the couple of hours it would take to check that no meaningful changes to the code was even necessary to produce this small update.

Again, thank you for your considerate, honest and forthcoming reply.
