Hows does this work with online games?

  1. I’m doing that already. I’ve been noticing this for a while.
  2. How do I check if it’s spawning the widget in a local controller? How do I even do that?
  3. If I do that, my game crashes in the first second. It doesn’t even get to spawn the client’s controlled mesh. I even tried adding a bigger delay (1 second) but it didn’t work.
  4. That shouldn’t be a problem yet, as I haven’t done anything with that, but when I do, I’ll make sure I destroy them completely.
  5. You mean like having a local variable inside the widget, set it to whatever the character is on right now and THEN update?
  1. I think it’s, IsLocalController.
  2. It can be an issue right off the bat. The server’s PC can be recreated when a new client joins, I’ve seen that happen in the past.
  3. Not a variable in the widget, a variable on the PC that you check to know if you already created the UI for that PC.
