How would you make this? Mesh with supports that adjust based off collisions

I’ve watched the blueprint videos on Epic’s youtube channel, but I’d have no idea where to start making something like this.

The guy that made that says he will make a tutorial soon, but that was almost a month ago. I’m curious about this too. Really cool feature.

Edit: my guess is that he’s doing traces from the 4 bottom corners on the mesh downwards. Then getting the distance of the object the trace hits and scaling the mesh accordingly.

I think hyawatha15 is headed in the right direction here! My only other thought would be to use morphers. You can set and manipulate morph target rather easily!

Thanks for the suggestions, I’m going to going to try to get the legs working tonight. I also want to try setting up “feet” that rotate to make the surface it’s on.
