How would I Collect the Vertices Data for NavMesh?

Currently been looking into how to utilize NavMesh to generate a 3d Model for a Map. Been running into a few issues and was wondering if anyone had anyplace they could point me specifically like a github page, or documents on a associated function or area that could be beneficial for me to look into.

I have had luck with a few things, but I I’m not sure what i’m doing to get the wrong vertices @.@ Cause i keep getting things that are from all over.

Try the UT code (https://github.com/EpicGames/UnrealTournament/blob/clean-master/UnrealTournament/Source/UnrealTournament/Public/UTNavMeshRenderingComponent.h) and related NavMesh classes. They seem to have methods like GatherTriangleData() and all that, but I am not sure if that is what you need.

Thats not for UE4 did I post in the wrong section?

Currently looking at this code: https://github.com/EpicGames/UnrealEngine/blob/7d9919ac7bfd80b7483012eab342cb427d60e8c9/Engine/Source/Runtime/NavigationSystem/Private/NavMesh/NavMeshRenderingComponent.cpp

If anyone has any comments they would like to add-in would love to hear them.

No, that is an example of the implementation of NavMesh. It would be lot helpful if I get to know specifics of the problem. For instance when you say “how to utilize NavMesh to generate a 3d Model for a Map”, then it is quite ambiguous statement. And it becomes even more with the statements “I have had luck with a few things,” (like what?) and “Cause i keep getting things that are from all over.” (which directions?).

Remember most of us are learning the Engine while exploring. We can only help in “real time” if only you can exactly pinpoint the problem (except ones who have already worked on it before).
