Hey so I’ve seen it done in a couple of games where static meshes are used for explosions. A good example is Planetary Anihilation. Sam Deiter of epic games also recommended using static meshes for explosions in vr in this blog ( http://www.creativebloq.com/3d/10-vr…ngine-21619215 )
Unfortunately I’m having a lot of trouble replicating this effect. Does anybody know of any good tutorials where people have used meshes and sharers to do explosions instead of flat flip-book effects?
