How many versions of the engine are you running? If the plugin only works with 4.25, and you’re trying to open then project in 4.26 then you’ll get this error.
I have a created a project in unreal few months back and it was opening fine those time when recently tried to open that file it shows an error message that BLe utilities plugin is missing and asks to install it from the marketplace but it already installed and even in the marketplace it shows same dialogue message.alt text
At first, I was using 4.24 it showed the same error message came so I uninstalled it and now I am using 4.26 first it asked to make a copy for current engine version and then the same error pops up.
Ok, did you make the project with BLE V1?
no, I didn’t is but I don’t know why this error occurs now when I was working on that project it was working fine (Jan 2020), when I tried to open it now it’s not opening.
For some reason, the system thinks it’s not the same plugin. Best option is probably to contact the supplier…
