How to smooth day/night shadow transition and make night darker

Hi there,

I made a video to describe my issue, and took pictures of my blueprint system:

Basically, the blueprint night system I’m currently using is giving me really abrupt transitions that really look ugly. Also, the night time is really bright and not getting dark enough. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix these problems I’d really appreciate it!

For the abrupt darkness you can probably use a timeline to fade the intensity out for the directional light and the skylight rather than just turning it off when below the horizon line. It’s on my list of things to do with this project when I find the time, just haven’t yet.
