How to simulate a controllable Level?


I’am working on a huge spacestation and i want to give the player the possibility to rotate und move this station.

My first thought was to realise this with physical-thrusters, but i think to move this big “level” within in the Space, would have a huge impact to the performance of the game.

I think it will be more efficient to move and rotate the environment like the Skybox, Suns, Planets, Asteroids relativ to the Spacestation to “simulate” the movement?

How could i realise this navigation with blueprints?

I hope you guys can show me an example…
