Usually this is just to get something out of the way while you are working in an area. For example imagine working on some garden in a glass dome.
You may want to hide it temporarily while working but then oops, I forgot what it was called.
Additionally you may have things that start hidden, then get marked visible during gameplay.
In UE5 this method does work. Never did find a solution in UE4 and just went through all the actors in my scene for that project.
