How to make export hairs from blender?

At the moment you cannot do this. Unreal does not recognize blender particles. Don’t convert them to mesh either you will end up with thousands of verticies. So you are left with the old school method of using hair cards but the new hair shader model in 4.11 should help make it look nice when you set it up correctly. For the future look into nvidia hairworks. Currently unreal doesn’t support apex hair but if you get Maya, you can get a hairworks plugin and the data will transfer in the fbx file to work in unreal. Also you could get a hairworks plugin from github on a UE fork to work with source code. Then look for the blender to hairworks plugin someone is working on. It isn’t perfected but it works.
