How to make a destructible object even heavier

I was wondering how I can make an object heavy so that it wont fall over when I shoot it. I currently have a jersey barrier that is set as a destructible mesh, but when I shoot it, it falls over. Any ideas? I hope it is an easy fix. Please let my know if you might know.

Currently using the first person shooter game unreal released, but i started my own level.
