How to have smooth clipping but not allow looking through meshes with third person camera?

I’m using the third person character blueprint and having the Do Collision Test on in CameraBoom does nothing. I am still able to rotate my camera through static meshes like hills or bushes which have got collisions. Is there a way to prevent the camera from ever going through meshes and make the camera clipping smoother, so it is slower? That way it will look smoother.
