How to have skylight go through static meshes?

In my level I have a big encased area which blocks off the skylight. However, I want that light to go through the walls as I want the lighting to look more natural because point lights don’t seem to do justice for what I want to accomplish. Is there a quick way to achieve this? Thanks!

I think you just disable shadows on the skylight.

Thanks. I’ve actually disabled shadow casting on the walls of my encased level and it did trick.
