How to get tree megascans into UEFN?

I’m trying to import these Black Alder trees from UE5 to UEFN and I followed everything on this guide perfectly but it’s saying the tree is way too big, just 1 single tree.

I also went into every individual texture and changed the max resolution to less than 2048. I’ve tried this on 2 computers and get the same error:

this is the guide I followed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UJWdo3XCxs&t=438s

Fortnite projects, UEFN or not, have a size and import limit. In this case, yours is 2.09GB. Megascans tree bundles are huge. They cost me 10GB in Unreal Engine. Try to import at most two Black Adler trees.

2048 is still large. But anything less than that makes the trees look weird, so I would avoid changing that to something less than 2048. Plus, if you are worried about runtime, Fortnite will change it depending on the client’s texture graphics setting.

Just import like two trees at most. I managed to squeeze two into UEFN myself from the European Beech pack, and even though they cut FPS in half, they look great.
